Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forums Tab. Here you can find options to manage Forum components on frontend. These options comes from wpForo current active Theme. The default wpForo theme has options to Expand/Collapse recent topics/questions of Extended and Q&A Layouts. Also you can set number of recent topics/questions displayed under each forum on front-end.
